The image on this flask is a painting that I did directly over the top of one of my favorite paintings (Ophelia by John Everett Millais).The model for the original posed by laying in a bathtub heated by candles. Half way through the painting most of the candles went out and the water got really cold. Because she was such a professional she didn’t say anything, but she caught pneumonia and died a few weeks later.
